The time has finally come. Today we’ll finish this conflict between the pirates as well as to take revenge on Desmond for what he has done. The concerning thing is that their whole crew somehow came across soul shattering weapons, so I just hope that nothing happens.

So, this fight actually went smoother than I originally thought. We first had to fight someone named Barbossa. He’s the one that stole that Jack Sparrow guy’s ship. He wasn’t anything to really boast about in strength. He only parried our attacks sometimes and threw a dagger at us. The most interesting feature about his blocking, was that the damaged seemed to stack, nearly killing Kleckser once. But after we defeated him and he promised to return the ship to Jack, we used an on-ship cannon to blow us to the next ship. Now, next up was Desmond. And just like Viola had promised, she helped us against him. Now, at the beginning, Desmond kept pushing us away, while using some of our strikes to heal himself. A neat little trick if I say so myself. But after he realized that this wasn’t working, he instead started pulling us closer towards him, before activating what I can only describe as a domain of fire around him, dealing massive amounts of damage. But I think the reason as to why he was able to fight with such strength, was the fact that he had somehow gotten his hands on his staff again. So, it took a while, but we finally killed him. And while Viola stayed behind, we got to the next ship. There we met Silver and Sierra. Now, to the future me, this might be a weird twist, but it was a foreseeable conclusion. During our time at the Island, I decided to keep looking around, running certain errands for the people. Now when I brought Sierra some Rum once, she actually told a little bit about her past, explaining that someone close to her once got killed by the council and she was now working for them as she had taken the easy way out. And a few days before the war started, Silver had asked, for someone to bring Sierra a certain item. And while I denied this commission, it seems like someone actually took it, as Sierra was now fighting with Silver. My personal conclusion for now, is that Silver is the person that Sierra said, was once killed by the council. Now to the fight. Silver started by summoning these weird falling particles that did a lot of damage. Meanwhile Sierra used her powers, to freeze her targets in place, making it easier for Silvers particles to hit. Luckily, we dealt with her pretty quickly, leaving only Silver. But before she moved to the next life, her last words were that Silver had to continue their dreams without her. Now after dealing with her, Silver quickly switched tactics, spawning clones of himself, using the chaos to make it harder for us to fight him. I also think I now understand why his title is “The Brilliant Diamond”. While it took longer then expected with all those clones, we still managed to defeat him, finally getting the map pointing towards the Holy Eye. Kleckser also threw the stolen soul into the fire, making sure to kill Silver off for good. Now, I’m planning to let Andre take a look at this map and to help me set up some kind of teleportation spell, as it seems that the locations is pretty far away from any point we’ve been so far. But finally, the war is over.

After the war, on a cliffside overlooking a giant tower, you could see a green fairy sitting down. Behind her, a figure came out of the shadows, slowly approaching. “I see you’ve actually decided to atone for your sin, instead of just running away. Honestly, I had my doubts, when I met you at the Island.” She didn’t turn around, as she answered: “It was the right thing to do. And honestly, I think this still doesn’t set my wrongs right, wouldn’t you agree dear benefactor?” “You’re right. But I think it’s a step in the right direction. And it shows that you’re willing to do the work to travel along the road of forgiveness.” He sat down beside her, looking at the tower she was starring at. “You might be right. But I’s still like to know, why didn’t you kill me, when you learned what I had done for Desmond? To me that would have been the most logical conclusion.” “Hah, you’re right. I could have just killed you. But I once knew someone, and she always believed in second chances. And in my eyes, as long as someone shows remorse for their actions, they deserve a second chance. And back then, when I held that knife to your throat, I only saw remorse and the knowledge that this was what you deserved. You had hoped that I would kill you back then, didn’t you?” While the words left his mouth, his gaze never left the tower. “Who knows.” As she finished her sentence, silence slowly started to engulf their conversation for multiple minutes, before her Benefactor spoke once more. “So, what’s gonna happen now?” “I don’t know. I only know that I won’t return to the Village. I don’t deserve that. Not after what I’ve done. For now, I think I’ll show Augusta around the Mainland, considering she doesn’t want to continue being a pirate.” “Hmm, maybe that’s for the best… I’ll leave you here for now. Take your time” He stood up, turning around and slowly walking away, before turning around one last time. “Before I go, take this.” As she turned to look at him, he threw a small pouch at her. Without saying another word, he turned around again, vanishing into the fog. Inside the pouch were hundreds of gold coins and doubloons, enough to live comfortably for some time. She wanted to ask, why he had given her so much money, but he was already gone, leaving no trace behind. So, she turned back to watching the tower, fleeing back into her mind to think about her future, knowing that her benefactor had given her a second chance…
