Case 34 (Silver Diamond)

Back again to the island. This time, we’ve been summoned by the council. Or well, they sent us to take a look at some ship that recently reappeared. We got there, only for the crew to instantly attack us. So we had to kill them. On the bright side, we found Lua. One of the missing Fairies from the village. Although it seems like she was wondering where another fairy went, judging from the few words she actually spoke. She’s probably somewhat traumatized, so I didn’t ask many questions. But I might try to get some more information later. Also, Kleckser decided to completely obliterate their ship with some TNT. I’m not sure what to make of that…

Well, we brought her back to the village, before reporting to the council. After revealing the colours of the ship, they revealed that it’s definitely an old member of the council. And somehow, they took part of his soul, seemingly making him immortal. I don’t know how that worked, or why they didn’t just kill him the normal way, but ok. To each their own, I guess. We were asked to help then in stopping him and we agreed for now. But after we left the harbor, we were greeted by a ghost, telling us that his master wanted to meet us, as he had something we want. I followed his directions, and suddenly we were faced with a ship bigger than any other we had seen so far. It belonged to this guy, called Silver. He also gave us his old title, the Brilliant Diamond. So, he’s that council member. Timmy instantly showed some kind of weird interest in his coat, which somehow felt concerning to me. But I don’t think that she’s just gonna steal the coat. Or at least I hope so…

He told us that he wants to abolish the council, abolishing the rules that bind all pirates. He also wants to get his soul back. He wasn’t much more help, to find out how that actually made him immortal, or how they even split his soul. Anyways, he asked us to join his crew to get rid of the council. In exchange we’d get a map, pointing us towards the holy eye we’ve been searching for the whole time. But doing that would mean to join the same crew as Desmond and I won’t join him, after what he did to the fairies. It seems like Kleckser agrees with that sentiment. After agreeing to think about his proposal, we went back to my base, to talk about everything that happened. That’s when Kleckser actually had a great idea. We’d replace the part of Silvers soul that the council had with a fake, making sure to give it to him, or destroy it. And after that we’d be able to actually kill him. We sent in Neric, as he had the biggest advantage with his knowledge from previous work. Now we have his soul piece, just waiting for the next move….

Some time, late in the night, there’s Prisma in his office. He was holding something in his hands, leaning back in his chair. You could hear simple jazz music from the music box. He was reminiscing about something, clearly deep in thoughts.

At the same time, in the branches of a big tree, there was Thorn lying on his back, just watching the leaves wave in the wind. He pulled out some kind of mechanical device out of his left pocket, before putting some headphones on that we’re connected to the device. It was an old mp3 player with only a few chosen songs, reminding him of simpler times on it, as he personally wasn’t a big fan of the technology. But as he started the music, his thoughts slowly drifted, ignoring all his current troubles.

Looking back at Prisma, he had finally found his way back to reality, determination clearly showing in his eyes. The last words you could make out we’re: “It’s time!”, before everything went black.

Now dear readers I have a little challenge for you. If you want to participate, you’ll have to roll a D20 and send me the result. Now depending on the number you roll, the text I’ll send will change. But if you roll too low (1-4) instead of me giving you some lore, you’ll have to give me some new information about your character.
