Case 7 (Phantoms of Nature)

I decided that I would skip today's meeting, as I had to many questions on my mind. So, I went straight for the Blacksmith to talk with him. He told me a little bit information about the Phantoms, but didn’t tell me everything as Kleckser already got that information. He instead gave me the key into the labyrinth that lies below the Statue. I went over there to at least find the entrance and start a little investigation on this structure. It was pretty easy to find the entrance, as I just had to follow an underwater cave below the statue. I encountered a giant catfish in those caves and I decided to name him Gary. After locating the entrance, it was time to start the investigation of the statue. This thing is truly perplexing. The throne seems to be multiple thousand years old judging by the cracks and all signs of wear and tear. But the upper part like the person itself, as well as the wings seem to be in perfect condition. Like this thing got build yesterday. It feels like the body is frozen in time. But what would cause such a thing? Before I could continue my investigation, the others showed up. Apparently the Blacksmith told them to obtain some items for the sword and the last one was in the dungeon. I also met Iatros for the first time. Just as Timmy said, she’s a child. But I didn’t expect her to be this small. I mean she’s half my height. And just as easy to distract as every kid I know. Which is gonna be a problem to deal with as the dungeons are a live and death situation and I personally feel it’s irresponsible to just drag a kid into all of this. As Timmy brought Iatros with her we decided that she would be responsible for the child. We decided to enter the dungeon after Kleckser told us everything he knew about the Phantoms. From what he said they can shatter our souls and we can only take so much damage before the soul can’t put itself back together. While it seems scary, I’m confident enough in my skills that I can face these things without any big problem. I’m not sure about the others though. Also, before I get to the temple part, Chubs apparently stopped shaving and he now has a mohawk. I don’t really know how to feel about this so I’ll keep it at that. After entering the dungeon, we immediately saw one of those Phantoms. Their massive guards with a height of approximately 3 blocks. We found a torch puzzle and after solving that and some close calls with the Phantoms we decided to call it a day and leave the temple. Afterwards I asked everyone if we could meet up at my house to talk about everything that happened. On the way there I learned how much patience it’s gonna take to deal with Iatros as she’s so easily distracted. I also learned that she is either scared of the water or she just got scared from jumping of a cliff. I need to ask her, which exactly it was. Timmy also seemed to be scared of jumping from the cliff, so I’m gonna keep that in mind. After everyone got something to drink and took a seat we started talking. Most things seemed ok, but Chubs apparently also experienced some weird things. He told me that his dragon just woke up one night and started screaming at a wall. It seems that that person is also observing Chubs. Afterwards someone new just suddenly appeared. A beaver called Augusto. Apparently, he’s been swimming around my base for the last seven days. I can’t even start to understand how you can do that for seven days straight. From what I could observe he’s also missing survival instincts, which won’t make him any great help in this world. But maybe we can help him understand everything better. During the meeting the feeling of being watched returned, so I decided to tell everyone about that person. And I’m sure they heard me. It won’t be long until they’ll make their first real move...
