Case 3 (Hunter and the Hunted)

Something feels off. And I don’t mean the seasons that change pretty fast. While I haven’t had any other dream like that one, I also couldn't catch that much sleep the last few days. It’s like something is keeping me from sleep, as if it’s trying to keep me from finding out any answers. While I haven’t had any breakthroughs on that front there were other pretty interesting developments. It turns out that there’s another village east to Polaris called Elysia. The others met a fairy there that gave them some information for solving a riddle. Wanda gave us coordinates to a hunter that would get us to the Temple of Whispers. Apparently, this is where the first eye is located. After arriving the Hunter named Orin was instantly untrustworthy of us, questioning our objective. To my surprise Chubachubs instantly suggested to kill Orin the minute he told us, that he didn’t want to cooperate with us. We talked him out of the idea, but I think that just worsened how we looked in Orin's eyes. We got him to agree to a deal where we would deal with some bandits that would take revenge, as he had destroyed their encampment. After dealing with multiple waves as well as their boss, we had finally completed our part of the deal. So, he showed us that there was a button inside the wizard tower next to the village that would instantly teleport us to the Temple. After getting there he gave us some ominous warning. From what he told us the Temple is home to guardians that could shatter our soul if we got killed by them. To at least incapacitate them for a short while we would need to get a weapon matching their destructive power. We decided that we would ask the blacksmith for help the next time we would meet, as he might know about this than us. After parting ways, I thought back to the dream I had a week ago. It’s weird and makes no real sense. Why were Kleckser and Wanderer there, and who were those others? And why did this dream mimic the events of that day. Is my consciousness trying to tell me something, or is this just a result of a tiring day. The weirdest thing is that it didn’t feel like a dream, but more like a memory swimming deep in the abyss. I hope I’ll find more answers soon
