Case 22 (Bright Rescue)

We met Alex. As it seems he and Detective Fox have been in this world for quite some time. Maybe even longer than we have. Now I found it weird that we haven’t seen them until now, but it made more sense later, as they’ve been exploring a new dimension. But to get us Portals to that Dimension, we had to give Alex the eyes we got from the mountains. From what he told us they're no Holy Eyes, but they are still special. He used the stored magic inside to create portals that we could use ourselves. Now the eyes that were so promising before, are empty useless shells. The next step of Project Null will now be delayed until I can restore the power. But back to the dimension. It’s a place called Everbright. And as the name suggests, it’s a dimension of eternal day. The dimension is also really blue. Now we entered the dimension to help rescue Detective Fox, as he got kidnapped by an evil sorcerer. The portal that Alex build was close to the corrupted region where we rescued Timmy a few weeks ago, so we used the teleportation spell that Chubs had set up back then to quickly get there without any problems. Now, the sorcerer lived in a tower, that wasn’t really anything special. We had to fight some guards to collect 4 keys, so that we could meet the sorcerer. After getting all 4 keys, we used them to enter the final floor, starting our fight with the sorcerer. Now this guy kept spawning minions and just loved to teleport all over the place which really annoyed me and the others. Luckily it didn’t take too much time to kill him. After finishing him, we found out, that Detective Fox had somehow escaped by himself and went back to the village. We decided to get back home after getting out of the tower. Now that I know that Alex and Detective Fox are alive that means that most of the people we met during our time in the last dimension are alive. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll meet our friends from back then anymore and I hope that they at least got back to their homes, but I feel like this isn’t the case. As one last side note, something concerning happened. I distinctly remember that there was a crystal close to Iatros’s tree, but it’s now gone. The only thing I found leading me to believe that I wasn’t imagining things is a broken shard where the crystal used to float. As I don’t know what this means, or how many people have actually found this crystal I should keep this information for now until I find out more... E3 to C5
