Entry 019:

As I expected, they activated the second mechanism. To my surprise, the portal didn’t immediately activate. I watched as the group decided to get back to the librarian after taking a look at the portal. Now after they left, I went there myself to investigate it personally. The portal really still lays dormant, but the mana around it keeps increasing. Getting too close to the portal frame felt like the air itself was suffocating me, as the high concentration of mana made it hard to breathe. Especially for someone like me, who is easily affected by mana. I couldn’t really investigate anything as the density of mana just kept increasing, which is concerning on its own. I need to keep an eye on the librarian for now... B8 to C6
