Case 10 (Gameshow)

After everything I went through, I started thinking about everything that happened till now. After going through everything I realised something. Right now, I knew more about my “enemies” than my so-called friends. While I knew enough about Kleckser as we already fought against the claws of evil once. Iatros isn’t what I would call a good friend, but I know enough to at least know that she doesn’t mean any harm to us. But Wanderer is the wild card here. I don’t have any idea what he wants, or what he’s able to do. It seems like he switched between worldly different personalities depending on the person he’s talking to. I need to know more about them. At least definitely about Wanderer. And I think I know exactly what to do. The best way to get people to let their guard down is to let them have some fun. I had to build a completely new building for this occasion, but I think it was worth every minute spend working on it. The three categories also definitely helped me understand more about everyone. But I should write everything down before I forget it. The first part of my game show were some general questions ranging from the world we landed in, to the friends we made in this world. It wasn’t really any surprise to me, that Kleckser won in this category, as he always likes to travel around the world and never stays in his base for more than five minutes. What was interesting to see was that he didn’t really dominate the category, as Wanderer was close behind him. But I can’t really blame him as most of the questions were more about events that happened to us and specifics about other people than the world, that he loves to explore so much. It seems like he’s much more aware of his surroundings than I initially thought. As the second part of the games, I let them build some structures, after I showed them, what they had to construct. I got another surprise from that test. It seems that Wanderer is on another level when in comes to his speed compared to the others. He always had a lead of about 5-7 seconds. He made a big mistake once, but somehow still managed to fix that mistake and still finished about 2 seconds earlier than the others. I honestly never thought that I would meet someone that fast. But you’re not just born that fast. Behind speed like that must lay a lot of hard work. For the last test I let them ride a boat on ice through a given course. Except Iatros everyone had acceptable times through the course. She on the other side really struggled with the boat. That tells me that even nature seems to be her friend, she can’t control nature. At least she doesn’t seem to have any connection or control over ice. While I already knew enough about Kleckser and Iatros these tests helped me learn some things about Wanderer. With the way he keeps monitoring his surroundings and his incredible speed, it seems that his past wasn’t too kind. But that means that it’s going to be a lot harder for him to ever trust me than I originally thought. But still. From what I saw tonight, he won’t be any danger as long as Iatros is around. Intentionally or unintentionally, right now she acts as a bridge that keeps the different islands of people together. I just hope that that bridge won’t crumple under the pressure.
